The Rebel is a two-man dinghy that sets itself apart from any other craft of its class. Built using techniques, which up to now were only applied in yacht building, the hull is made using resin infusion with a strong core of honeycomb and vinylester resin. This technique results in a hull weighing up to 20% less than polyester or polyethylene boats. Another of its advantages results in a stronger and stiffer hull. The Rebel exists in two versions: Club edition: Dacron mainsail and jib+ Nylon gennaker / suitable for sailing schools, sailing clubs and beginners. Race edition: Pentex mylar mainsail and jib + Airex gennaker / suitable for sailing schools, sailing clubs and beginners, fit within the rules of standard class for advanced sailors.
