In collaboration with Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design and the designer Pierre Frutschi, we built this fast cruising 85-foot sailing yacht. Built of high strength Sealium aluminium, she is equipped with a hydraulically lifting keel. The deep draught in keel down configuration guarantees her excellent performances without handicapping this pure cruising yachts capacity to anchor in shallow water when the keel is raised.
Still thinking about performance, the sail plan is sizeable but easy to manoeuvre thanks to the use of the Solent jib. In light air and reaching conditions, the jib is backed by a light genoa.
The deck is uncluttered and particular attention has been paid to ease of movement, especially in the cockpit. The tender is stored under the afterdeck and it is easily accessible through the transom door.
Beniguet was launched in 2005.
