The RHM crane is a rope luffing type heavy offshore crane with a mast structure and designed for use on offshore construction vessels , semi-submersibles or wind turbines installation vessel.
Genma RHM series offshore crane, with max. lifting capacity of 2500t and working radius of 150m, can be also specially designed for you.
The main structure of this series crane includes pedestal, mast, slewing platform, boom, machinery room, operator cabin, working platforms and aisle etc.
The main motion mechanism of this series crane includes lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism and slewing mechanism . They can operate independently or collaboratively. All mechanisms have stepless speed control.
The most significant features of this type of crane is the crane overturning moment born by the mast and the slewing ring is no longer the key component of the torque transmission. The crane has a very low probability of structural separation caused by the fault defects, loose bolts or other fracture defects of slewing bearing. At the same time, for cranes are not limited to the size of the slewing ring, the cranes enjoy min working radius and tail slewing radius under the same loading capacity.
The crane provides its own onboard power pack (electric-hydraulic or diesel-hydraulic with opened hydraulic loops, or variable-frequency drive system.) which is located in an enclosed and weatherproof power room on the slewing platform. As an option the RHM crane can be certified for man riding operation.
