Silt curtains are semi-permeable marine booms used to contain turbidity, siltation, and sediments and prevent them from spreading during any marine job or activity. This type of silt curtain is used in exposed locations with moderate to tough conditions depending on the category of type III selected. The type III comes with three different specifications: Type III GCC, Type III GCC Heavy Duty, and Type III GCC Heavy Duty Plus. The Heavy duty and Heavy Duty plus types were first launched in the marine industry in the year 2021 by Geoseas. These types were developed, innovated, and tested together with Geoseas strategic clients to ensure that even in the toughest conditions the marine eco-system can still be protected.
