Description

These type of crabs are produced on demand to address special needs such process cranes with special features of capacity, safety, speed or other requirements. It is called Open Winch due to all the elements are manufactured with independent and different sub-assemblies for easy maintenance, delivering higher lifting capacities and speeds, and meeting higher FEM hoist duty classifications. Designed for lifting heavy loads and equipment, our electric open winches feature modular designs that use independent sub-assemblies for easy access to components for maintenance, servicing, calibration and inspection. Many of our open winches come with the option of having one motor instead of the standard two—while delivering the same lifting capacity. This reduces the probability of breakdowns by up to 50%. Our winch motors range in size from 750 rpm to 1,000 rpm to 1,500 rpm, and offer a wide range of lifting capacities, from 6.3 to 400 tons. Elastic couplings Connections between motor and gearbox and between gearbox and drum feature elastic couplings, delivering superior shock absorption during lifting. Easy access Open, modular design gives you easy access to components for maintenance, servicing, calibration and inspection. True vertical lift True vertical lift is standard, thus avoiding lateral displacement of the hook while lifting loads. Slack wire rope detector A mechanical system ensures correct placement of the wire rope in the drum grooves at all times, preventing overlapping.
