Police departments in New York, Boston, and Chicago have taken delivery of Gladding-Hearn patrol/search-and-rescue boats. In addition, the United States Navy and the Colombian Navy are operating the shipyard’s port-security vessels. Designed specifically for their individual operational responsibilities, municipalities, port authorities, and domestic and foreign government agencies can choose from 30-foot to 75-foot fully-equipped vessels, including Gladding-Hearn’s latest boarding patrol boats to carry out coastal and offshore search-and-seizure operations. Options include non-lethal weapons, such as water cannons and acoustical devices, as well as forward-looking infrared cameras, and nuclear, biological and chemical filtration systems.
