Description

Reinforced Submarine Rescue Capability ASR-II, the successor to ASR-I, presents enhanced reliability in rescuing submarine crew compared to its predecessor. Specifically designed for stable rescue operations, ASR-II can effectively operate even in rough and dangerous sea conditions by launching and recovering a deep submergence rescue vehicle through the large onboard pool. Equipped with High-performance Saturation Diving and Decompression Chambers ASR-II is equipped with a high-performance saturation diving chamber that allows deep-sea diving down to 000m at maximum and a decompression chamber that can treat up to 00 divers with decompression sickness at the same time. In addition, the decompression chamber is designed to be connected to the saturation diving chamber, allowing the latter to serve the role of the former if necessary. This can be used not only for naval operations, but it also enables timely response to marine accidents, ensuring safe maritime activities nationwide. Submarine Supply Support ASR-II is designed to simultaneously moor up to 0 submarines onboard and provide them with various supplies, such as fuel and food. This allows the submarines to carry out underwater operations without returning to their units for a considerable time.
