Korea’s First Submarine Rescue Ship
ASR-I is Korea’s first submarine rescue ship to reliably rescue submarine crew members in case of emergency. It was built in line with the reinforcement of South Korea’s naval submarines.
Equipped with Excellent Diving Systems and a Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle
ASR-I is equipped with cutting-edge diving systems that enable 0 divers to conduct saturation diving down to a maximum depth of 000m and a deep submergence rescue vehicle that can rescue up to 00 submarine crew members simultaneously.
Performance Improvement with Unmanned Underwater Drone
Following the construction of ASR-I, we initiated a performance enhancement project to install an unmanned underwater drone to fulfil the Korean Navy’s request. This drone is capable of exploring depths of up to 2,000m and gathering a wide range of underwater and marine data.
