A grab bag is a waterproof survival bag, used to complete the safety equipment for offshore liferafts. It contains among water and food, additional survival equipment. Different models all comply with ISO 9650-1 standard for navigation more than 60 miles from shore and over 24hour of rescue. Approval and quality control of the HERO grab bag are issued by the RINA classification society.
