This vessel is designed to meet the varied and demanding requirements encountered when supporting civil engineering and dredging operations.The vessel is adaptable enough to carry out a number of tasks from towing, pushing, plough dredging and bed leveling through to transporting equipment or transferring fuel and fresh water.The basic design is very flexible enabling the vessel to be built in a number of configurations to meet with a customer’s particular operational requirements. This specification details the MPV 21.5 recently built to Bureau Veritas class I 3/3 (E) “Pontoon Coastal Waters” for Holyhead Towing Co., since when it has been in great demand and has been employed almost continually.
