Mega Dock MegaDock is our strategy for massive, heavy-duty floating structures. This concrete pontoon’s on-site production capability results in low manufacturing, logistical costs and shorter installation times. The Mega Dock floating concrete pontoon is seaworthy, strong and maintenance-free with a high loading capacity and long service life. The Mega Dock’s construction and materials provide the strongest mooring points for large projects, making it a low-cost and enduring pontoon for any marina. Concrete strenght: 45N/mm2 steel reinforced polypropylene fibre concrete. Exposure class according to European En 206-1 standart Core: Expanded polystyrene, high density 18 kg/m3 fireproof S quality Reinforcement: Partly or fully hot dipped galvanised steel Decking: Wood, composite deck or natural concrete. ModuleDock floating concrete dock group is designed for 30 years commercial lifeterm. All raw materials used in the system were selected in accordance with anticorrosional and sulphate resistant. The concrete used is produced by using the marine type waterproof admixtures. The steel reinforcement used in the concrete is economic wall sections and all iron reinforcement is protected aganist corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing. The type of connection used in the system is an blon connection system, especially for heavy weather and wave conditions.
