The FLYING FISH 45X SAR is a powerful Search And Rescue boat. This 13,7 metre Search And Rescue boat is built according to DNV GL ST-0342. With a low freeboard, picking up survivors and casualties from the sea is easier and the low draft makes operations in shallow water possible. The interior is equipped for first aid treatments and medical transports. A quick release towing hook is arranged at stern. The boats may also be equipped for fire-fighting and emergency bilge pumping. BOAT CONSTRUCTION The hull is constructed from marine aluminum, and has a solid fender made from foam and spray coated polyurethane material. The wheelhouse is a composite construction, and we use casting forms for the wheelhouse and composite details. The boats are fitted with high quality components. All work is done in-house, and we are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
