HYDE SAILS Squib sails are a result of a vigorous two boat tuning regime. With numerous delevelopments being taken into account to keep up with the modern ways in which the boat is now sailed.
Having re-designed the sails for the improved new stable cloth and also making the sails much more user friendly (you can find the new barber hauler position and tuning guide below).
For 2020: The AGM at the Torquay nationals passed some rule changes to improve the squib sails, mainly these are to do with visbality by increasing the amount of windows allowed in each sail. Your new sails will now feature; 3 tell-tale windows on the jib, plus an extra collision window. The mainsail now can have either a leech window, to see the jib sheeting position from sat out, or an addtional collision window and you can sepcify if you would like draft stripes or not, which will help you read the shape of your sail.
As for results in 2018; at the classes national championship, with 100 boats, Hyde Sails were used on the winning boat and 17 out of the top 20!
