Thru-Hull Mounted Hydraulic Thrusters (1800-5500 foot pounds of thrust) Versatile, robust, and powerful, these thru-hull mounted marine thruster units readily accommodate both vessel design and application. They can be mounted singly or paired together, and powered by the vessel engine or a HMS-supplied hydraulic power unit. HMS manufactures several patented models for use with engines ranging from 100 to 320 horsepower (75-240 kW) and configured to suit customer requirements. Azimuth steering and thrust nozzle features and options make these thruster units particularly well-suited to constricted inland shallow-draft operation where low-speed thrust and vessel maneuverability are absolutely critical.
