Floating breakwater

The breakwater is a modular design element that gives great scalability and flexibility. It has a polygonal shape and is made of low density polyethylene (LDPE). Its weight is 16.3kg. The design of the unit allows it to be filled with water to precisely adjust the buoyancy. It can also be filled with sand or expanded polystyrene which makes the unit imprervious. Each breakwater unit is connected to a cable system – rope and additional parts with EPDM cladding, as well as a stainless steel anchoring system. Its innovative shape not only attenuates the ripple, but also improves the breakwater resistance. The breakwaters can be produced in different colors. Floating breakwaters are designed to efficiently extract energy from water and have a wave damping efficiency of 90% (wave height 1.2m damping 15cm).
