Ecological in its DNA, truly silent, the 1st model of Hy.G motors entirely designed and manufactured in France, the RIM6 is a concentrate of propulsive power to move all types of ships up to 4.5 tonnes per propeller . Servitude, rental, motorized pleasure, sailing, or cargo boats, the RIM6 takes any type of hull at up to 7 knots. Its current record: a 10-ton barge with a single RIM6 acting as an emergency thruster. The RIM6's capabilities can be multiplied: install 1, 2, 3 or 4 to increase your carrying capacity. These performances are only possible because the RIM6 integrates the best of Hy.G motors technology. RIM6 - 6KW OF AVAILABLE POWER OR 10KW CONVENTIONAL Our colleagues in electric propulsion speak in “electric power”, because it is easy to measure the energy coming out of a battery. The specificity of Hy.G motors is to better use this electrical power to convert it into thrust. With the RIM6, you can count on 6kW of power available “at the shaft” . Thus, you will be able to absorb up to 7kW of electrical power where a conventional thruster will require up to 12kW to provide equivalent service.
