The mini gauge is today dominated in prototype by drawings of David RAISON characterized by a bow scow.
David RAISON, naval architect from the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, has designed two outstanding prototypes of the mini class:
2010 : « Magnum » n ° 747 which won 11 mini races including the Mini Transat 2011 and Les-Sables - Les Açores - Les Sables 2014 and which won all the races in which it participated in 2014.
2014 : « Maximum » n ° 865, evolution of "Magnum", which has already won 18 races including Les-Sables - Les Açores - Les Sables 2016, 3 Mini-Fastnet (2015-2016-2017) and all the races in which he participated in 2016 and 2017.
David RAISON is also a runner with more than 30,000 miles in solo racing, on Mini, Figaro and Class 40, winner of the Transgascogne and Mini-Transat in 2011, and the Mini-Fastnet 2012, 2015 and 2017. In the summer of 2017, David RAISON and Idbmarine meet and decide to work together to develop a new series "Maxi" in class 650.
To combine the audacity of a design that has proved its worth in the category «protos» of the Mini 6.50 class to the technical know-how of the idbmarine shipyard: here is the exciting new challenge that will animate the mini class !
