Image Soft Radar Simulator simulates marine radar systems using the most advanced simulation technologies. Works as an authentic radar – it transmits beams from a specific point and calculates the echoes using the geographical data and the objects in the simulation (ships and buildings etc.) for generating the radar image Produces a highly realistic Radar image on Radar display Is also able to produce Radar overlay on ECDIS The Radar environment is created from height map image. Objects such as new buildings and vessels can be added to the simulation, and they will be visible in the Radar display as well. IS ARPA Radar Simulator offers basic ARPA Radar training, and can be integrated in IS Full Mission Bridge and IS ECDIS Simulators. Radar display can be generic or type specific, e.g. Consilium™.
