The circular disc (in the middle) can be pulled in by an internal hydraulic cylinder and enables the flow to throttle from 100% down to 25% in a step-less operation. In case of a double barrel monitor the flow is devided by the valve arrangement between the two barrels. Hence, the flow of the jet/fog nozzle monitor is as good as for a dual barrel monitor
