STANDARD 12k carbon fibre sheets and plates are manufactured using multiple layers of genuine 100% 12k 2×2 carbon fibre twill reinforcements infused with epoxy resin creating a high stiffness, high strength, light weight and aesthetically pleasing material. The plates also have the option of facing the surfaces with 3k 2×2 twill carbon fibre. Our PREMIUM 3k carbon fibre sheet and plate is manufactured using only genuine 100% 3k 2×2 twill carbon fibre fabric layers the whole way through the thickness. The carbon fibre is infused with a Lloyd’s Approved epoxy resin creating a high stiffness, high strength, light weight and aesthetically pleasing material. Monolithic PREMIUM 3k carbon fibre sheet and plates offer excellent mechanical performance and machinability over STANDARD 12k and INDUSTRIAL 48k. Utilise PREMIUM 3k carbon fibre sheet when your application demands the highest possible mechanical performance and best machining characteristics.
