Being a Greenland-style SEA KAYAK the Arctic 585 follows - yet at the same time reforms - the prototype of all kayaks. With a softly arching seam line and a hard-chined hull, a „shallow V” bottom and raked bow & stern, the design of this kayak gives it stability, a smooth and silent run on water – and also makes this boat easy to recognize. It is quite long (5.85 m) so despite its flat bottom and width, it is the fastest boat amongst our touring SEA KAYAKs The Arctic 585 is well-equipped with quality fittings to make your kayak not just fast but also comfortable for longer trips: a comfy seat, an ergonomic footrest, an oval, a round and a daily storage hatch, toggles and bungees are all standard features.. but there are several other choices to customize your boat!
