This long established work horse was originally designed for a crossing of the Tasman sea, a trip that it never actually took. However, it was used in an Antarctic expedition to Elephant Island, where it's performance was proved. It is a great all-rounder, and is really comfortable to paddle on flat-water. For the more experienced, it is an enjoyable estuarine kayak for use on those inhospitable blowy days. It can even be used on the sea when paired with correct equipment. It is the preferred choice of the totally inexperienced newcomer who wishes to do the Devizes to Westminster marathon for personal gain or for charity. It also makes a great fun family boat, that's easy to carry and super-stable.
