Meeting the requirement of the Scandinavian touring class, by a whisker, this fast touring K1 is a small step up from the Tercel.
Designed by Bjorn Johansen is is available with a option of a rear deck hatch and bulkhead. The bulkhead is required for the Scandinavian touring class, to guarentee the hull fits the precise maximum beam requirements. A standard marathon Rudder is fitted as standard, but the Escape rudder/skeg system shown is available on request. Alternativly, a more cost-effective retro-fit Tercel style low-profile rudder can be fitted. The Escape can also be fitted with a special sliding Escape footrest system, which can be adjusted by lifting with your feet. As standard it will be fitted with a standard racing Kirton tiller and marathon rudder, and no bulkhead or hatch will be installed.
