Description
Nylon-8 tails are fabricated from continuous filament, heat and light resistant nylon (polyamide) 6 or 6.6 fiber of industrial (high tenacity) grade. Their robust construction and flawless yarn quality provides excellent performance to the rope. They have high elongation characteristics that make them ideal for mooring tails, especially where absorption of big shock loadings occur. Mooring tails are important safety components for an unelastic mooring system. The standard length is 11 mtrs working length, but other lengths are available upon request.
