PEDAYAK is a new and innovative 3.6 m long mini boat with pedals and propeller, equipped with two keels. They protect the propeller and the rudder in shallow water or on the beach, and work as an "anti-drift" allowing a good behaviour under sail. The whole thing is a real little sailing and motor boat with amazing performance. A few strokes of the pedals allow for quick tacking or gybing. Whether the wind is strong or weak, you can get in or out of the boat. The user sits comfortably in a seat with a backrest, in the direction of travel. He can see 180° in front of him and does not need to change tack. Learning and handling is quick and easy. The TRIO and PRAO structures are options that give extraordinary stability to the PEDAYAK, and allow you to carry a passenger, or equipment for picnics, bivouacs, diving, etc. They allow you to raid or travel longer distances with complete peace of mind. One or two PEDAYAK rigs can also be installed on the PEDAYAK DUO, which thus becomes a real small catamaran with sails and a particularly stable "motor". PEDAYAK can reach 6 knots with its sail. It is recommended to use the PEDAYAK under sail with less than 24 km/h (12 knots) of wind for beginners, 30 km/h (15 knots) for the more experienced. 40 km/h (20 knots) for the PEDAYAK TRIO, PRAO and DUO.
