Polyamide ropes excel in their ability to absorb shock energy, have excellent strength and very good abrasion resistance. They are mainly used for mooring where there is a lot of surf and on towing boats as a so-called stretcher, where this rope is used together with e.g. HMPE rope. Compared to polyolefin ropes, PA ropes have different properties such as higher elongation, higher strength, better resistance to various weather conditions.
