It is a Nexsteel (High Modulus Polyethylene improved by Lanex) rope with a polyester cover and reflective tape. The railing is clearly visible at night, well splicable and extremely strong. In case of emergency (for example a man overboard...) the rope can be easily cut and later replaced.
