Nylon rope in twisted construction. This rope has relatively much stretch and a high breaking load.
INFORMATION
Langman ropes twisted nylon rope is used for a wide variety of applications, but is mostly used in shipping industry and industrial applications.
Nylon ropes have a relatively high elongation of approx. 3% at 20% break. Because of this stretch the nylon, or polyamid ropes are often used for mooring and towing applications. Nylon has a very high breaking load, even higher than polyester or polypropylene ropes.
Besides in twisted construction, nylon ropes are also available in braided construction. We produce nylon cord in 8- or 16-braided and nylon mooringlines in 8-strand.
