The CV7-HR-OEM ultrasonic wind sensor is designed for racing boats. The calculation of the wind speed and wind angle reaches 120 Hz with a 38400 baud transmission speed in NMEA0183-HS®.
The CV7-HR-OEM is a high resolution ultrasonic wind sensor designed specifically for racing sailboats and supplied as an OEM version.
Faster than the CV7 and CV7-V, the transmission speed of the CV7-HR-OEM allows a greater reactivity for the calculation of wind speed and wind angle with baud rate 38400 and 4Hz output data rate condensing the 120 wind measurements per second.
CV7-HR-OEM is compatible with NMEA0183-HS® with a baud rate 38400.
On demand of offshore racing skippers, LCJ Capteurs has developed this ultrasonic wind vane-anemometer based on the CV7-C from which reliability and technology have been validated for many years at sea all over the world.
Its high raw data rate allows for communication with high-end autopilots.
It can be installed either at the back of the boat or at the top of the mast, thanks to an adapter supplied which allows the mounting of a vertical or oblique pole.
