The latest LeisureCat 9000 Kingfisher is the culmination of discussion and requests by you, the fisherman and rescue groups. It has a wider beam (3.1m), wider hulls capable of comfortably taking diesel drives with stern legs. It has larger fuel tanks (2 x 600 litres), larger freshwater capacity (240 litres), raised coamings at rear, larger 500 litre removable fish boxes and comes in at a dry weight of 3200 kg while drawing slightly less than the previous smaller Kingfisher. All-in-all, a very solid fishing platform ideal for Police, Rescue and Charter use.
The large, self-draining deck has plenty of room for a game chair and clear vision for the helmsman to assist the fisherman at the business end of the rod.
Comforts have still been catered for with a huge double berth and stand-up dressing area in forward cabin and electric toilet.
As with all our craft, the Kingfisher is suitable for Police patrol and Charter fishing/diving. It can easily be increased to 10m.
The craft displayed here has been fitted with many options, including lengthening to 10m, sink and fridge fitted in the helmsman’s seat base, extra large roof hatches, solar panels and much, much more.
It has been fitted with twin 350 hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboards giving more than 45 knots.
