The LeisureCat 8000 Patrol has been chosen by many Sea Rescue Groups, Marine Parks, Police and Port Authorities for its ability to safely go to sea, often in the most appalling conditions, and return safely.
It was the choice of the Australian Federal Police who have based them in many of the localities and islands for which is responsible.
The LeisureCat 8000 can be enclosed for the protection of crew in all weather conditions (see some of the photos). It is also available as Walkaround model (see Westerner photos of Port Hedland Port Authority craft).
The one-piece safety windscreen on the latest model gives greater forward vision while still retaining strength and safety. Sliding side windows are standard and can be slid forward
or back to give plenty of fresh air flow. The seating is moulded into the superstructure
giving increased storage and allows for the installation of an optional galley that includes a
2-burner stove, sink and 12v fridge.
The hardtop is fitted with an internal liner of gloss gelcoat finish giving a very smart
appearance. It includes a moulded console for radio and CD player.
On the comfort side, there is a double berth cabin with standing room for dressing and an electric toilet.
Other standard fittings include bolsters along inside of gunwales, 120 litre freshwater tank, freshwater transom shower, saltwater deck wash, electric anchor winch, marlin board
extension with stainless dive ladder, and much, much more.
