Our newest family boat is the Sunny 4/4. It is the first kayak that can be paddled with a family of 4 where everyone can paddle, which was previously reserved for Canoes. With the Sunny 4/4 we went a little differently than with normal kayaks. We have installed our very comfortable Comflex seating system at the front and rear, which provides as much comfort as in any of our kayaks. We chose to mount benches a middle seats and positioned them much higher, to achieve a angled sitting position, similar to how you would sit in a Canoe. That will add extra legroom and at the same time have the children the opportunity to turn around in the boat. You could even sit forwards or backwards and move around in the boat. Thanks to the wide U-shaped hull, the boat is super safe in the water. The Sunny 4/4 is also characterized by very good directional stability and has a replaceable fin at the rear. With the Sunny 4/3 we skiped on middle bench so that the rear paddler has more space for his legs and also more space for the luggage.
