SCR

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is a system in which a reducing agent (urea) is injected into the exhaust system. This causes the nitrogen oxides to be converted into nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O), which reduces exhaust emissions. The chemical reaction is accelerated by a catalyst. Lindenberg offers complete solutions with SCR systems for the marine generating sets. The systems are tested and matched to the engines. These generating sets meet the requirements of the latest exhaust emission standard IMO Tier III. Corresponding certificates are issued by the classification societies.
