For your Fountaine-Pajot Athena 38 catamaran trampoline, choose between 2 different materials: the braided net or a PVC technical canvas. - The polyester net for the Athena 38 is a very resistant material with a slight slack rate to perfectly adapt to your trampoline over time. The net's edge is a 10-mm-diameter bolt rope that runs along the net's perimeter. Two models are available: The F1515T net (polyester net with a 15x15-mm mesh) is tightly woven for greater comfort when the boat is moored, or the F3030T net (polyester net with a 30x30 mm mesh) is a more loosely-woven net, and a good compromise between permeability and comfort. To install your trampoline, lace the lacing rope through the grabbers of the boat and the bolt rope of the net. Prior to installiing your net, it is important to soak it for 24 hours in cold water, and then install it while still wet. This will allow you to evenly distribute the net around the perimeter of the void, and further reduce the net's slack rate once the net is dry. - Loftnets also recommends the Multitramp Mesh MT492 technical canvas for Fountaine-Pajot Mahé 36 catamarans. These PVC canvases last a long time and withstand harsh marine conditions. The edges of the trampoline canvas are made with high-frequency welding to prevent tearing. Grommets are generally placed every 150 mm around the edges to optimize the tension and weight load on the trampoline.
