Designed for an Australian client, this 20m tri-deck wavepiercer was originally intended to fulfil the role of a Queensland coastal cruiser, capable of supporting the owner, his wife and their extended family and friends for extended periods. Unfortunately the initial boat was completely destroyed by a fire at the build yard, Q-West, shortly before completion in May 2004. Subsequently the boat has been rebuilt and was launched in December 2005.
The comprehensive design package is now available to interested parties at a very competetive price and includes:
* Detailed structures and systems drawings that have already received full plan approval under the Australian Uniform Shipping Laws Code
* A full set of CNC cut files developed and nested for the entire aluminium shell and all internal structural components
* Detailed build notes that were generated during the initial build.
The original interior, which could easily be altered to suit individual requirements, occupies two levels. The lower level incorporates a large cockpit suitable for game-fishing, a large open plan saloon and galley around midships and offers four cabins forward. These comprise of a master stateroom with extensive bureau / office space, walk in wardrobes and separate head and shower compartments, two double guest cabins each with en-suite, and a twin share bunk room. The mid level is dedicated to an outdoor area, large saloon and entertainment area and an enclosed portuguese bridge with access to the foredeck and side decks. The upper level is an extensive open outdoor area with partial shade cover from a hard top supporting the navigation and communications equipment.
