Echoing the traditional style of US East Coast lobster boats, Rhythm was built by her owner, who has set the boat up for game fishing.
Constructed using modern timber composite materials and methods, the boat has a modern planing hull form, but very traditional styling.
Powered by twin 300hp Yanmar diesels on conventional shafts with fully immersed propellers, Rhythm has a most untraditional sprint speed of close to 30 knots and an easy 20 knot cruise.
Accommodation includes a twin share cabin forward and a large double amidships with a shared head and shower compartment.
Launched early in 2003, Rhythm took out the honours in her very first game fishing tournament - boating a 120kg striped marlin - and is very rapidly clocking up engine hours as she gets the use she was designed and built for.
