Description

Sandy and Helen Jones dropped by to tour the yard during the summer of 2005 when they were on an east coast excursion to find the builder for their ultimate powerboat. After listening to a quick design brief, we asked designer Doug Zurn to come up from Marblehead and meet with the Joneses. They hit it off and we started in on a great new design from Doug. We built the boat using our standard SCRIMP infusion system providing the Joneses with an exceptionally strong hull for the long distance cruising they plan to do in the Pacific Northwest. Their flybridge cruiser has an excellent layout with many great details making her a superb design. The twin C-18, 1,000-hp Caterpillar diesels will provide an easy 20 knot cruise with top speed of about 32 knots. The complete design was mocked up on-site before construction, a Lyman-Morse trademark.
