Oak wood with consistent colouring resulting from special heat treatment (without chemical additives). Oak plank in 3-layer construction with small bevel on long side and approx. 4 mm top layer, with approx. 4 mm backing in the same wood and middle layer conifer. Tongue and groove on all sides for easy installation. For the main part the planks have healthy knots, isolated repairs up to 30 mm diameter are possible. TECHNICAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Branches permitted, knotholes up to 30mm are filled with putty Cracks end- and stress cracks up to 300mm Cotter not permitted Worm not permitted Discolourisation positive feature Grain permitted Color difference is a characteristic of natural wood WOOD TYPE: Oak - The Oak is surely one of the most hard wearing woods. Depending on sort, this hard wood offers surfaces free of knots or very lively with large knots and cracks as well as color varieties from almost white to almost black WOOD TREATMENT: nero vulcano - Nero Vulcano woods are intensively thermo treated. The woods are proverbially baked without chemical additives and therefore have an almost black tone across the entire material crosscut. Vulcano therefore represents a responsible and ecological alternative to tropical woods. TYPE OF PLANK: Symmetric-three-layer-construction for panels -Symmetric-three-layer-construction with bevel on long side (depending on product: small, big, hand-planed) and all side tongue and groove for end to end laying. Overlay approx. 4 respectively 5mm (hardwood respectively conifer) consisting of selected quality wood. *Handplaned and milled surfaces may have a thinner top layer on partial areas.
