The Makefast Sun Awning offers temporary shade out of the glare of direct sunlight, creating a perfect area for entertaining or just enjoying the view! Awnings can be situated on any deck, on any size boat. The Makefast Sun Awning is designed to be discrete, utilising a near-silent motor. The low-profile system retracts fully inside the structure of the boat and is hidden from view. + Low-profile system designed to fit invisibly within the structure of the boat. + Manufactured in highly-polished 316-grade stainless steel with spring tensioned arms for a constant taut canvas. + Horizontally mounted from above or below depending on the boat design. + The adaptable design offers coverage up to a maximum extension of 2.2 metres, with a maximum width of 4 metres. + Quick release 316 stainless steel support struts available for securing the awning to the deck when deployed. + Supplied as 12 or 24 volt system with soft start and stop operation. + IP65 rated control box complete with electrical overload safety trip. Deutsch connector plug and play connections supplied as standard. + Operated by a two-way switch as standard (boat builder supplied) with a manual override for extending and retracting the awning in case of power outage. Bluetooth and remote control systems are also available on request. + High quality marine-grade fabric options available in a choice of colours. + 316 stainless steel front valance bar can be profiled to match the boat.
