The Manson Ray Anchor is a very fast setting anchor, most suited for quick deployment and ‘no fuss’ anchoring. The fast setting nature makes the Manson Ray ideal for use in crowded or narrow anchorages, particularly on sand or muddy seabeds. The Manson Ray Anchor tends to be used more frequently on Super – Sailing – Yachts as a more traditional yacht type of anchor and it is then deployed via cassettes in the bow. It is Lloyd’s Register Type Approved as an HHP (High Holding Power) anchor and available approved sizes from 5kg – 600kg, and unapproved up to 5000kg.
