Description

EXTRUDED ALUMINUM GANGWAY Lightwight anodized aluminum gangplanks. Secure boarding with trip-free uniform tread surface. Often a the most appropriate solution for stern-to-docking, or when the boarding gate both rises above and falls below the dock through tidal changes. Built to your required length - 4 to 14 feet (1.2 to 4.3m) Anodized aluminum construction super-secure non-skid surface across the entire walking length Two-section & folding options Various handrail and wheel options Available trapeeze harness bar for raising dock end Available lifting harness for davit lifting of larger/longer sizes Wheel-chair accommodation options PRODUCT OPTIONS Length and width Built to suit from 4 to 14 feet (1.2 to 4.3m) long, With standard nominal mounting widths of 19" or 24" wide (48 or 61cm), providing a 16" or 21" (40 or 53cm) walkway width, measureing 20-1/2" or 25-1/2" (52 or 65cm) wide overall. Mounting system May attach to the vessel using several methods. Standard is a 'T' and socket style mount which allows for both vertical and horizontal rotation at the boat end of the gangway, using fixed wheels at the dock end. Alternately, the same hullside brackets as our other boarding equipement can be used, constraining the boat-end of the gangway to vertical movement only - in which case caster-wheels are used on the dock end to allow sideways movement. Folding or Take-apart sections for easier handling and stowage Allows for more compact handling and stowage of one half-length to two half-length and half-weight pieces. High-low wheel car at dock end Helps avoid interference with the edge of the dock at low tide by raising the dock end of the gangway.
