The MarFlex Pneumatic Draining Pump is a self-priming, double-acting piston pump that removes all cargo residue from the well, acting as a stripping pump in the cargo tank after discharging with the main Deepwell Pump. The MPDP is applicable up to a maximum tank depth of 8 meters and utilizes pressurized, clean, and dry air is used to pump any leftover cargo out of the tank. The pump is in principle suitable for cargoes ranging from -15 to 100 °C, however, it has been set at 90 °C to follow ATEX standard.
