The Marinekart successor, the lightweight boat KART 388 from the "The-Ultralights.com" series uses wakeboard technology and can be equipped with a 4.0 kW Torqeedo electric motor (no license required) or a combustion engine with up to 23 hp.
Ultra-lightweight with lots of space
The Swiss lightweight motorboat in catamaran design KART 388 only weighs 70 kilogramms (without motor) despite having a length of 3.90 m. It can be used by up to four persons simultaneously and thanks to its award-winning design looks absolutely fantastic.
The lightweight boat can be equipped with a 4.0 kW Torqeedo electric motor or with a combustion engine with up to 17.9 kW (23 hp).
It is the technological breakthrough for hobby-water-pilots solving the conflict between weight, comfort and speed.
Unsinkable and uncomplicated
The unsinkable epoxy-boat in catamaran design is by far the lightes rigid fixed hull boat in the world. It can be transported on the roof of your car and can easily be watered anywhere in the wilderness. Kart 388 can be equipped with an electric or with a combustion engine with a maximum power of 17.9 kW.
Handcrafted in Italy
It is the second lightweight-motorboat built and designed by the italian Ex-racing-boat-driver and snowboard-designer Lucio Longoni who is based in Como/Italy.
Very versatile
To be let into the water the boat does no longer require port-technology. Because it can be equipped with an electric motor, it can be used in many nature reserves. On top of that Kart 388 is easy to repair, extremly stable in the water and also unsinkable. It also has the certificates RINA(I/EU) and WKS (CH)
