Alusafe 1290 Combat is customized and designed for use by the Norwegian Navy. The Marine Aluminium Hull construction is in compliance with: * DNV class requirements for High Speed Light Craft regarding hull structural design. * Nordic Boat Standard for Small High Speed Craft/Work Boats under 15 meters, edition 1990. The vessel is built as a mono hull which provides good seaworthiness and capabilities. The hull is welded of extruded aluminium profiles and plates. The boat is unsinkable under all flooded conditions, and the strength of the hull and superstructure is sufficient to withstand all forces encountered under normal use offshore at maximum boat speed. The hull is of a fully planning type with a deep V-bottom construction, suitable for high speeds. Alusafe 1290 Comat is built to give maximum safety and comfort for the crew and are equipped with twin diesel engines and waterjets to provide excellent manouverability. The superstructure provides shelter and seating for the crew aswell as a team of troops in the aft section of the cabin.
