Markleen Shallow Water Skimmers can be used in depths of just 7 cm and are ideal for oil spill recovery on beaches, in rivers or in other inland waters. The skimmers float horizontally on the surface and can recover at a rate of up to 30 m3/h, whether it be with a thick or a thin layer of oil. Shallow Water Skimmers are best used by hand and are usually connected up to a diaphragm type engine pump via hoses with a diameter of 2”.
