The ECOFLEX Series booms are easy to handle high quality fence booms for use in harbours and coastal applications. Construction The ECOFLEX booms are made from high-frequency welded PVC-coated fabric, which is resistant to oil, salt, and UV light. The floats are made of flat, closed-cell foam and the booms feature vertical fibreglass stiffeners. The boom is fitted with handles, have pockets for flashing, high-intensity LED marker lights every 25 metres, generously sized welded-on reflectors, and a galvanized ballast chain, making them extremely robust while being of low weight. Flexi Booms are equipped with ASTM connectors as standard. Deployment ECOFLEX Series booms’ compact design means that they can be stored and deployed from a boom reel or manually from a customised container, requiring only 2 operators. There are handles placed every metre along the top of the boom for ease of handling. Retrieval is equally straight forward, and the booms’ flat surfaces make them easy to clean.
