The ORC52.2 today replaces the ORC50 – from which she has been inspired – in our range. This new model brings together the composite boat-building historical know-how of our shipyard and the Grand Large Yachting group’s blue water cruising expertise. She’s a sailing boat on which life is pleasant, and sailing is even more, in total safety. The output is a simple and light catamaran, benefiting from every possible improvement in the field of naval architecture and ergonomics, focusing on essentials. The ORC52.2 starts sailing when others are motoring, reaches above average top speeds, and is very rarely overtaken on the water. Following the brand’s DNA, the ORC52.2 offers one of the most flattering SA/D and DLR ratios. This ensures to sensation-seekers they will continue to enjoy sailing this light and simple catamaran, with just two fingers on the tiller, in total safety. This will be the case during weekend bivouacs or for a circumnavigation – an area in which Grand Large Yachting group has gained its reputation, with a large panel of services (brokerage, training, etc.) and accompaniment offered to blue water cruisers. The ORC52.2 makes adventure at hand, and sensations at the fingertips. A new zenithal window in the roof angle, that will become a new visual marker, easy to recognize. New sugar scoops for an easier access from the dinghy or after a swim, with additional storage for wet stuff, and of course higher stability and overall performance. Enlarged openings, notably on the cockpit/saloon bulkhead, for a better visibility from the helm station, as well as in the fore windshield.
