Description

SCP type systems are direct evaporation equipments having expansion systems consisting into two separate units (condensing and ventillation ventilating) which make them the ideal solution to serve the air conditioning needs of sailing electric and motor boats. The use of split systems minimizes the noise level of into the cabins and is the optimal solution in those situations where when there is not enough room space to install a Self Contained system. MBC Marine – SCP systems can be ordered are available in 7 types models ranging from 8000 to 24,000 BTU / h cooling capacity, but also available are fully we also produce customized units, having specific capacity to satisfy any individual needs.for individual sizes and applications. Thanks to its the heat pump design, it they also offer reverse cycle operation, thus providing a convenient solution for heating the airspace of the vessels in heating mode. SCP systems equipments are carefully designed to be lightweight and compact, for a quick and easy installation in any suitable room of every boat. All MBC Marine – SCP systems consist into two main separated components: condensing and ventilating units. The most common installation procedure is when the condensing unit is placed in the engine compartment so this makes it possible to isolate the noise of the compressor simply, while the ventilating unit generally is installed in a seating compartment of a cabin. When using split systems, condensing and ventilation units are connected each other with insulated copper refrigerant pipes. As a standard we offer 2.5 m long insulated tubes, but in specific cases this distance can be increased up to 7-8m.
