At 26.2m in length, the MC86 offers enormous versatility and provides an appealing platform for both private use and commercial charter operation.
The exterior profile of the MC86 extends the look of the MC75 cat by 11 feet, retaining the same low profile and progressive style. What sets the MC86 apart, however, is not her size, but her flybridge.
The open flybridge variation provides an elevated position for the dual helm and a spacious seating area that enjoys a higher vantage point. The flybridge is accessed via a staircase on the aft deck and its extended aft overhang provides additional stowage space for water toys.
Dynamic glass panels with UV reflective glazing run the length of the hull sides, with the hulls themselves topped by a predominantly glass superstructure that spans almost the full beam. The use of glass is a feature across the McConaghy Multihulls range, aiding the influx of natural light to the interior spaces and enhancing the visual connection with the sea and one’s surroundings.
The MC86 has a spacious exterior lounge on the aft deck where meals can be enjoyed alfresco, and access to the interior is afforded by full height, glass sliding doors. A second deck space resides forward of the superstructure, where there’s a large sun pad.
Further aft, a hydraulic ‘beach club’ platform allows for easy deployment and recovery of the tender, access to the water, and a terrace at the water’s edge that’s large enough to accommodate a sun lounger.
The main saloon is open plan and features a lounge area, dining table, and an attractive galley with centre console breakfast bar.
