The Davit Arm Line Hauler is used for the pulling of fishing crab, lobster, octopus and cod pots. Extended davit arm allows the pot to pulled high enough for the fisherman to transfer onboard. The davit arm line hauler drives a round sheave by means of an electric or hydraulic motor. The line is pulled round a pulley block which is extended outwards from the vessel. A pressing arm is used to press the line inside the groove of the sheave. Line is gripped by the sheave an automatically discharged by means of a knife inside the groove of the sheave. The large diameter of the stainless-steel tube and angle support allows the pulling of heavy loads. Hauler is mounted on the vessel by means of a double side mounting or side and bottom mounting.
